Lesson 11 - Setting Up Our Integrated Development Environment (IDE)

Objective: To install VS code-server on Raspberry Pi and access with Chromebook.

Materials: Chromebook, Ethernet Cable, Micro SD card w/ Ubuntu Linux 22.04 LTS Image, OLED Display, Raspberry Pi, USB-C Power Supply


In this lesson, we will set up our Integrated Development Environment (IDE).  We will be using the popular Microsoft Visual Studio Code, which has been modified to run on a server.  The project is called code-server.

Please follow the instructions in the video to get code-server running on your Raspberry Pi.
